Supposition 03:39
does it ever feel like too much time has gone by was it ever real or was it just in my mind does it ever feel like the most important lie to tell i wasn't ever safe here not even from myself when the cold night arrives would you even hear me cry would it ever reach your ears could you save me by surprise does it ever feel like an empty chair where someone goes and it's everything but you won't lift your head up no does it ever feel like you set this table for yourself i wasn't ever safe here not even from myself

MaryAnn 03:42
She carves her path with her eyelids She, she knows she’s lost but she won’t look back She is farther now than she’s ever been Oh, don’t you know, that’s the way it goes when you’re MaryAnn It’s like a discontinued TV show And once you were gone you were forgotten It’s like the world stopped watching years ago And once you were gone you were forgotten You, you know where she’s coming from You know where she’s going and it’s not good You pretend like you just can’t understand Oh, but you know there’s no difference at all between you and MarryAnn It’s like a discontinued TV show And once you were gone you were forgotten It’s like the world stopped watching years ago And once you were gone you were forgotten O, and they tell you lies And hope you never see inside O, that you’re so much more And you could never be ignored And in spite of all of their reviews You’re my favorite show I’ll never miss an episode
3.
Ugly 04:46
i'm sorry you're too ugly for my club you're not cool, you're just not enough it's obvious you don't belong here you're not quite right for this atmosphere you're no good you're fat, your hair doesn't look the way it should they're carving out your life for you tell you who you are before you know carving out your life for you they're carving out your death for you tell you that you're dead before you go carving out your death for you but you're here today and what if you're still good what if you're just fine what if your hair looks exactly like it should
4.
You 04:25
You, you made me with your eyes, you know everything inside me You, you shaped me with your hands, that’s why you understand me I, I’m falling, falling down, as dirty as the ground I fall to And I run down to the water, knowing I can be cleaned by you And I close my eyes a captive, and open them in freedom Why, would you care about me Jesus, look upon and free us? We, we take your gifts and love them, so much we have forgotten your name I, I’m guilty and I know it, I should be turned away and thrown away And I’m running through the crowds, knowing I can be cleaned by you And I fall down at your feet with my face upon the street Afraid to look upon the face of the one I love,Embarrassed and ashamed to hear my name come I want to hear you still love me as the day I was redeemed
5.
Grass 03:59
every year the picture gets younger and i'm that much closer to being like grass that fades like a flower in winter breathes it's last breath and never comes back but if you'd become nothing with me i'd have everything i might be a hero someday and they'll name an ocean after me but what if i can't be that somehow and all that i've done dries like a stream but if you'd become nothing with me i'd have everything oh if you could look inside of me oh if you could take apart of me oh if we could make the rest of me
6.
who can stop the rain who can make it stand on the other side with the other man who can make the wind turn the other way so my fingers numb and i can feel my face who can stop the pouring rain who can take the knife out of my hand before i hurt myself before it cuts again have you felt this way can you understand like a sinking down or a missing friend you can stop the pouring rain no more cold, no more pain you can stop the blowing wind and now i feel the sun again
7.
who can say the word and it comes to be or light a darkened world so my eyes can see here comes the sun right on time again here comes the sun right on time again who can make a bird who can stop all time or make the mountains fall or the water dry who can say my name and call me home who'd accept me after all i've done
8.
Make Believe 04:21
it's all about what everyone can get it's everything i want until what's next it's always the one thing i can't have oh, maybe this is make believe and there's a real world behind it all i thought about another year of debt i thought about a broken hearted world i thought about some reasons i should live it's all about a man i thought was dead it's all about a price out on my head it's all about a curtain torn to shreds
9.
Pieces 02:39
Oh, would you look at all the pieces Scattered on the floor Could you pick up all the pieces That you left there before You’re going down But it’s not right now No it’s not right now
10.
Burning Time 03:31
I guess you should have known, the truth was in your hotel room You’re burning time, you’re burning time I guess you should have seen, the writing’s on the wall And you’ve been burning time, you’re burning time I guess success was something different than you thought it was You’re burning time, you’re burning time I guess it wasn’t worth the thousand backs you climbed upon You’re burning time, you’re burning time I guess you should have listened to your crazy next door lady Burning time, you’re burning time I guess the cries of all the blood you shed were deafening You’re burning time, you’re burning time I guess you should have seen, it’s too late now cover your eyes You're burning time, you're burning time I guess the end’s the end and here's the end so bend a knee You're burning time No more killing the weak, no more taking their lives It’s over No more calling it "war", no more blurring the lines It’s over And no more dodging their tears, no more closing your eyes It's over And no more pretending you don't even hear them cry It's over
11.
Over 03:28
it's over now, it's over now you'll never see this face again it's over now, can you hear my voice can you hear me say it's over now it's breathed its last, it's come and gone the end of it, it's over now

about

The band's sophomore album.

Pick Of The Day: Hello Industry - MaryAnn
"Super chill indie with groovy undertones. Praise music that's not your everyday, squeaky clean, so happy its obnoxious CCM, but real and honest songs that are both relatable and good to listen too."
John McEntire - HM Magazine

"Hello Industry is a smart pop alternative band. I hear elements of the Beatles, Coldplay, U2, Muse, and a pop rock sensibility. A nice mix of keyboard and guitar make for an enjoyable listen. I use the words nice and enjoyable because Nathan Peterson's vocals are just that. At a couple of points, he reminds me very much of Neal Morse ("Make Believe"). I sense a "worship" band under the surface, but I could be mistaken.
Strong tracks are "Supposition", my favorite "You", and the ballad/slow rocker "Here Comes The Sun". Overall, this disc deserves radio airplay and repeated listens."
